I feel that the after calibration result is extremely satisfying. You can simply go into the DL project and adjust the filters to your liking before loading into the preset profile.
So you can switch profile on the fly. With this DL on Denon/Marantz, I don’t think you would want to go back to audyssey again.
Too bad I did not took pic of the target curve on the “before and after”. The EQ result is so tight and satisfying to see la! After that just adjust to liking. Not only it sounds good, but make you feel premium as well lol.
The firmware update for marantz and Denon can configure top middle as VOG (Auro 3D) for latest model.
So far anyone tried it? Or is on the fence thinking to do a VOG installation? Let me know and come by to experience at my place for a better decision making
Finished this new launched Netflix movie yesterday night with wife in bedroom.
The camera shots are superb! Weapons in action are awesome!
For me, it have the “new rambo\counterstrike” feel lol
Need to rewatch this on main system soon !

Not surprise…it is one of the home theatre subwoofers that truly can deliver both high SPL with plenty of headroom if need to push harder. He owned one or two of this giant?
A very “John-Wick-esque” feel after I caught this last evening. I’m very impressed with this sequel, especially the ridiculous prison break scene which lasted with “one take” cinematography style shooting (though I’m pretty sure it is not a true one-take)…It is not a first-person shooter POV but a third-person POV that joins in the brawl and is right in the middle of the action with the protagonists. Very well-choreographed fight scenes. And yes, the heli shooting scenes at the train are awesome. The firefights with tons of bullets wheezing by really bring out the best in Atmos and the surround channels are pretty busy for this flick.
A very well-done Netflix with the right amount of run time (not too long). It further confirms my belief that the Russo Bros should take a backseat in directing and let a stuntman-turned-director (just like John Wick director) take a shot at movies like Extraction where one hero leads the way. FWIW, Extraction 3 is already in production.
Some of the scene a bit flat I noticed. During the scene he infiltrated the prison to extract Mia’s sister till he is out in the open engaging those prisoners. The rest still ok. Gotta boost the MV for sure. For me is about 8 to 9db more
