I always think that with these kind of round bars on ceiling, the installation will be more versatile for any sound formats.

Best is it may have the strength to hold a full range bookshelf!

Yes, I do have this in mind a few years ago for height speakers or install a strut of some sort to hold the bookshelf speakers in place. But in the end, abolish the idea. LoL…

This is a studio mixer setup if you notice. I bet this idea derives from the mixing studio concept but to actually implement it in a consumer home… Well, it won’t go well with the decor.

For those having concrete ceiling wall, mount this with Bookshelf speakers - sound bubble sure there sia facing MLP. WAF too haha.

Very nice! I have managed to cut out the DV file with Atmos in .ts container. But seems like no sound for Atmos on the Oppo. Not sure if it’s an Oppo 205 thing. Wasted. It might work on a zidoo though. Otherwise will be damn nice dolby vision Atmos

Yes, its a oppo codec support thinghy. I have cut the scene in mkv container with DV support and Dolby Atmos. Played smoothly on my Zidoo UHD3000.

Here is one demo clip, the Batman 2022 in HDR10 Atmos. This scene has a very special type of effect when car crashes, if you have wide speakers, you will enjoy this one! The Rumble from Batmobile is syok and machine gun bullets spraying… syok!! somehow not able to cut out for DV + Atmos MKV container works for Atmos but doesn’t for Dolby Vision TS container works for DV but doesn’t for Atmos. (not sure if its the oppo/file/software) nonethelese, the car chase scene is demo worthy! adding it …

I watched it from zidoo yes. Definitely demo worthy. From 1h19min, mostly bed channels. Only when there’s bumping and fire and flipping of the cars etc, the Atmos clearly shows the activities.

There are some good scenes for a short while at 2hrs mark… Fast and short sound effect lol
