Which 12" subwoofer to get? Paradigm XR13, Rythmik F12, DefTech DN12 or M&K Sound X12

Thanks. I might need your carpentry skills someday to add a physically larger plate amp to my sub. It requires some woodwork to the back of the sub to essentially enlarge the hole where the plate amp fits so that the new plate amp can be fitted. Essentially, SVS, has a new complex bluetooth driven 1200W amplifier with sophisticated app driven DSP that can fit my 20 yr old SVS. A few people on the internet have made the modification. I’m waiting for the current BASH amp, which I replaced around 2016 to die. The first one lasted about 10 years and SVS doesn’t make them anymore.

I second that, first class quality build… very good

Highly recommended synthesis

Recently one of the KK12012 amp was faulty on my uncles set and there isn’t any replacement amp for it. So we took it apart , took the drivers out and built 2 separate 12” subs with a Dayton amplifier…

Very nicely done by synthesis :heavy_check_mark: as above

Plus my uncle just told me, comes with grills ! Lol

Didn’t know there is a grill … not bad , apparently he said the sound is similar to KK ! The punch is the same as the KK signature …

Interesting, I was supposed to visit him today to calibrate the system and find out myself how it sounds but plan was cancelled because he had work last minute…

So the session got postponed to next week

I’m also interested to see how clean the subs play…

The previous KK12012 plays clean down to 30hz @100db with less than 1% THD… this time we have a bigger cabinet, 100 litre…

Will share that info soon on the subwoofer thread

Looks good, very nicely done ! Doesn’t look old at all… superb customer service by svs … totally worth it
