For the past 3days being testing this SPL S800 stereo amp,as it “sounds” very good to me so decided to replace the front spks n surround spks amp with 2 of it. Other 2 reasons of changing been first to simplify n save rack space/power cord moving from 3 amps to 2 amps,2nd is the SPL amp comes with gain adjustment to reduce as much as -5.5db input gain which is useful for me as my front spks trim on Oppo with the purifi monoblocks is at max -10db liao which is not so optimistic.
At the same time tested the 2 new PT-Z PC on the Oppo n front spks amp. Testing the PT-Z/Oppo n amps combination with 2 friends this afternoon ended up again go in no come out liao.
Will be adding 1 more UK plug PT-Z from wall to distributor following by testing the latest Tran-Z spk cable, some pics from Sky Audio Steve on the Tran-Z spk cable:

Haha bro no problem,u’re the only guy I am worry about running out of volume during demo,depends on the content those clips are playing @-5~-1mv, keeping 1db as backup
There’re 2 factor that leads to how the system sounds today,first is the swapped out of KEF surround/surround back spks to the Divini Ref8s,2nd been switched from using line in to LFE in on the Rythmik f18s which produces more output above 80hz,both factor contributed to a more impactful n coherent sounding system.
The book of Eli Gatling gun firing also extremely good impact.
For best 20hz rumbling my take will be Olympus has Fallen Washington Monument collapse scene. All clips are played without BEQ during my demo.
I was there for the shootout as well, the stereo class AB amps were very good, the trans Z cable is definitely another level up…
Even the entry level cables are very good from divini…
Similarly, My uncle also upgraded his speaker cable to the entry level SP-ER2 13awg cable and he heard significant benefits, he mentioned to me it was very obvious…
he told me belden is a waste of money and it’s the divini @$15/m… lol
First time hearing Japanese made belden is a waste of money… never heard that before…
I think they are well made, I’m definitely a big fan of the divini cables…
