I had a short listening session this afternoon at bro Bryan’s place.
Superb sound panning and integration between all the speakers and multi subwoofers. Such imposing subs in front easily disappear.

Too bad you were heading off early, else you could join other member, Kingajit … we went through many different demo materials as I broke it down piece by piece to explain the difference , from stereo to HT to video…
Maybe next round , you can invite your friend along XFI if he intends to demo. So he can have an idea how to build his upcoming theatre room
Bro Bryan’s setup is the best I heard so far, and it was more than 1 year ago before array sub and other upgrades kicked in, would love to visit again if got opportunities this year,

Keai, you need to hear it again. Entirely different league now with the line array dialed in. So much more balanced with upper midbass—> midbass—> Low bass—> ULF… really is the end game

We will do stereo also this time, dialed in the stereo aspect as well this time using the Schroeder regression analysis to arrive at the desired target to bring out the best possible sound from the monitor audio GX300. Nobody believes the monitor audio speakers can sound like that…

This is my living room in Singapore ! 2 x 6” line array woofers, full 7.1.8 monitor audio set up with Atmos , supported by 4x F18 seatons , apollon Purifi monoblocks , lyngdorf MP50, Oppo 205 & Xbox series X. Powered by plixir and frank ultrabank 25000 & Full Divini PTY . It is one helluva end game set up after dialing them in. Above all, I must thank my Mrs,for always being so understanding and loving for always being so accommodating
I look back at all the hard work, today I fire up the system again, and I have absolutely no regrets

Ya so nice, sometimes when I host, I also learn a lot of stuff from the folks.
Today was another fantastic session, we demoed bullets scene, some new demo monster hunter and other stuff.
Surprisingly good was alita battle Angel race scene, didn’t know it was like that. It was different without the line array.
Among the lot of all the bullet scenes, I love “live by night “ now… the bullets are all hitting on the chest .
We tested it at -5mv. Clean, fast and impactful bullets straight to the chest. As can be observed, it’s impact is mainly at 30-60hz, chest thumping material.
There are all sorts of bullets from shot gun, machine gun, hand gun etc… but the tactile feeling is all different. I didn’t BEQ the scene. But they very fast

The bass portion definitely better than the last I visited. Too bad I gotta leave early else I have more demo that I wanted to try.
The music at the end of Outside The Wire credit has very good soundtrack. You can try that too

Use that xmedia software to cut out the scenes , very easy and good . Then compile them for your demo also , good stuff
Ok compiling demo for bullets scene now, next round going for full bullets scene demo material
The few I’m adding now below, will update along the way, try these files and pick which is your favourite. My fav so far is Live by night , the RTA below represents 30-60hz, pure chest thumping effect… the roll off below 30hz makes sense as the bullets being fired are all hitting chest level , and a lot lot faster with bullets flying all over
A good AB with all types of gunshot. If u notice a good one, do share and advice time stamp. I’ll cut out the demo scene for it

SPL everyone can get. But clean, precise and feel is another level to achieve 
Actually the secret is to be able to play at low volumes…but often not possible with the constant battle of fans and cooling aircon needed in our climate.
