U should always use limited RGB, ie 16-235, instead of the full RGB 0-255 that’s used for PC. It has nothing to do with colours, it’s more to do with intensity of light and darkness. It is mentioned clearly in every manual, i think the BenQ has it, the LG also has it.
For colours then u look at 8,10,12 bit colours, that’s colour depth .
4:4:4 , 4:2:0, 4:2:2 thats referring to chroma subsampling
Above is a quick article to help u understand the difference. Same like u, I’m also no specialist. The info I get is mostly from the manual, or web.
In my case, I was using the BenQ, so naturally my information source is from BenQ sites.
There is good knowledge centre articles on Oppo site and BenQ site, u will also understand about lumens in PJ etc
I think so we should try and keep this to Xbox conversation, else we are deviating from the topic actually…
Thank Ronildoq for all the responses.
Apologies to the rest on the out of topic.
Back to xbox Series X, one of my requirement is to have KODI and retire my old trusty HTPC, has anyone tried loading KODI? Is it the latest v19? Any recurring issues in playback etc?
i usually wouldn’t post in Gaming/Computing section as most of the medias mentioned here wouldn’t have much relation to HomeTheater.
for “immersive audio experience”, a soundbar like Creative Stage 360 or their Kantana series is good enough to give a virtual “immersive” surround sound sense in a limited space setup.
anyway… i come across a listing in CPSA(Consumer Product Safety Agency) that may serve as new product leak?

where the Registration Date is often used for NEW PRODUCT achieving certification.
i’m not a follower of XBOX as i’m not a gamer. hence, i’ll be up to your reference to other sites or tech news web for further details.
