I hope this time it is for real…too many news in the past claiming YT going 5.1.
I remember few mths ago I heard surround sound in one of LG demo YT footage using my oled tv. Beside tat there isn’t much surround sound YT content currently.
I wonder if it would work through PC’s & Mac’s 
Yes it does 5.1 surround. I came across one of the trailers, I was wondering how come the surrounds come alive! Then I realised it was 5.1

So yes ! 5.1 is added to YouTube ! Nice to have
Haven’t come across Atmos content on YouTube … so not sure if that works ?
