2 of the greatest box office hits for James Cameron. We know Avatar 2 will hit theater this Dec…so not a surprise to see Avatar remastered in 4K to pique the fan interest.

I’m not surprise that both titles will get a 4K release. Even the 60s and 70s movies are getting 4K.

Just watched Avatar 2009 on Disney+ in Dolby Vision. It’s very sharp and the Atmos effects are very good. It’s a huge improvement over the Blu Ray. Worth re-watching
just to throw in a little for u to know, backtrack to LaserDisc age… The ABYSS Laserdisc was once released in “IMAX” ws1.9:1 aspect ratio?
