With the new Jurassic Park movie titled, Jurassic World Rebirth hitting theatres soon…the studio is out “milking” more money from consumers. Will you get it?

not necessary to be 4K, not necessary to be in ATMOS, so… the old transfer first trilogy with DTS:X that can be played with modest soundbar that can do DTS:X decode and presentation is sufficient with me.
2nd trilogy with Chris Pratt in Jurrasic World would likely to be the same in FHD for me as well…
i’m not a fan for steelbox releases, as my Band of Brothers TIN BOX DVD pack exterior had degraded drastically.
Got a copy with Dolby Atmos and went through some of the prominent scenes last night…I have to say that in this Dolby Atmos mix is indeed better especially with the thunderclaps and the raining scenes. If you recall how convincing the Dolby Rain demo is, this is exactly what you going to get for this latest release.
In terms of bass reproduction, I find the Dolby Atmos transfer to be a tad cleaner and more punchy. In terms of overall sound level, there is no difference between Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Surprisingly, the lossy version of the Dolby Atmos track which utilised E-AC3 (DD+ with Joint Object Coding) has a -31db offset which is to say there isn’t any attentuation at all. The bitrate is alos higher at 1,024kbps which is higher than most at 640kbps. Clearly the studio delved deep into the audio mixing just for this new release.
For me, I’ll rate the Audio to be 10/10.
