Pearl Harbor - No 4K UHD release yet?

Even True Lies, The Rock, Con Air, Twister (1996) and Titanic already gotten a 4K release…I am surprised to find that Pearl Harbor didn’t get any 4K remaster. I can imagine how good the sound track will be if it gets a proper Dolby Atmos or DTS X treatment. Someone need to hint Michael Bay to get the studio, Touchstone to look into it.

i believe TWISTER(1996) was already in planned to be released in the same year as TWISTERS, both theatrical and homevideo release period.
TRUELIES and TITANIC as well as ABYSS and ALIENS, was a bail out from the theatrical success of AVATAR 3… a boxoffice hit to DISNEY, even though theatrically, AV3 was marketed under the FOX BANNER.
if i didn’t recall wrongly, DISNEY was and is not so enthusiastic in releasing out catalog titles. should they’re, FOX WAR CLASSICS, lead by TORA TORA TORA, PATTON, THE LONGEST DAY as well as THE THIN RED LINE would have been already widely available. so as FOX DISASTER CLASSICS like POSEIDON ADVENTURE and TOWERING INFERNO. ALIEN 3 and ALIEN RESURRECTION, ALIEN vs PREDATOR 1&2, so as the rest of DIEHARD Franchise would have seen the light of day as well.
as a frequent visitor to hometheater forum, should there’s a talk of THE ROCK getting 4k release, the discussion would be still running hot today. however, there isn’t much. Michael Bay had jumped ship, from DISNEY/BUENA VISTA to be independent producer involved in projects with other studios. notably QUITE PLACE Trilogy with PARAMOUNT, and BADBOYS 3,4,5 in recent years. DISNEY/BUENA VISTA still own the rights to Michael Bay works, to get his catalogued works getting 4k upgrades, MB better have something good new to offer the greedy rat. or else… the rat can drag. only if JBFlims owns 100% rights to it’s old title, we’ll get to see Pearl Harbor as well as others, getting UHD refresh in physical medias.

Re-watched in 1080p and this is the only movie authored in PCM lossless as opposed to the traditional bitstream - DTS-HD MSTR. The dogfight in the air and the Japanese air raid at Pearl Harbor are still demo-worthy. Can’t wait for a Dolby Atmos track or DTS:X MSTR.
