Home Theatre Layout advice for 7.4.4

Trinnov is different from MSO.
I like MSO more since I have more flexibility to control the bass.

yeh I had 2 e112 too.
I just sold one and regret .

my 4 subs are integrated quite well as of now, may be I am lucky.

not sure what will happen in new place.

Nice…

For your overhead speakers, since u have enough depth in room, suggest to consider x.x.6, with 1 pair as front heights, 1 pair as atmos top front/middle and 1 pair as atmos top rear.

Front heights placement will give your den a different dimension for the overhead frontal sound. There are much more faraway height level atmospheric sounds/effects, as compared to very direct overhead sounds for movies. And front heights present those sounds/effects super well.

but actually Atmos has no front height layout
how does it help?

For overhead channels, does your avr allow config support/options for 6 overhead channels?

As for how front height placement helps/improves the overhead sound, it’s already covered in my prior post. If it’s not understandable, perhaps u can ask specific qns to clarify? Front height placement for overheads/atmos speakers has proven benefits that are discussed before in this/xp forum

Could u elaborate/clarify what u meant by “atmos has no front height layout”? The latest dolby atmos speaker layout guide does have a 7.x.6 with front height placement.
