HK release of The FUGITIVE 4K steelbox…
…coverart could be the same to local release, if POHKIM bringing in.
no Dolby Vision, but just HDR10 in visual specification.
the train crash towards prison bus should be a great workout to ur HT setup as this release packs Dolby Atmos remastered track… which was one of the highly recognized demo part that rocked Dolby-Pro Logic Matrix setups udring LaserDisc era!

those who have seen this film theatrically, or ever owned in DVD, shall have deep impression in the opening,
where the patrolling team got attacked by the Vietcons in ambush, the soundtrack is simply rocking!
…what’s pity about this release is that, despite being a 100GB 3layer disc release,
this 4K remaster only gave the visual quality a great boost, but not the audio department where the DD5.1 from DVD is brought to this new format without newer enhancements such as Dolby Atmos or DTS:X treatments.
[center]the 2nd Mil-Flick was a long neck stretch for years wait, that’s coming in November, published by PARAMOUNT themselves!
…for the moment, on the disc specs, it is mentioned to be a 3layered 100GB disc on the UHD part,however, no further mention of what kind of new treatments such as immersive enhancements, will be given to the Audio section. for further technical updates, refer to this discussion thread…

on the technical aspect of the 4K Remaster, there will be Dolby treatment on the visual aspect with Dolby Vision. due to the limitation of the elements in the aged soundtrack, the highest audio spec will be limited to DTS-HD5.1.
specification and release date of the U.S. and other region release is yet to be determined. for more updates and information on the Aussie release as well as other region schedules, refer the the 2 links below for further updates.
