External LUT box experience?

Hi,

Does anyone has experience on any external LUT box?

I happen to come across a thread on avsforum , and I hope someone in our country would have tried this.

the idea is, connect the LUT box in between the video path, we can use DisplayCal or whatever software to do auto calibration and apply the LUT to get a perfect image.

Any thought?

Unfortunately, I don’t think any member here use that (at least in this forum I guess). And yes, if you need pro grade calibration for colors to your display then you would want an external 3D LUT box that also does video scaling. The compete package will be Lumagen RP but that one will probably cost too much. If the price of this device won’t burn a hole, I’ll say get it.
