China broadcaster CCTV is going to broadcast the upcoming Olympics in 8K…Are other nations ready to broadcast in 8K? I doubt Singapore will do that even though we may have the hardware but consumer adoption rate of 8K is still low. Besides the DTV tuner SoC comply does not have the processing power to do that. I’m impressed with China technology.
