The more advanced Asus AX routers received a firmware upgrade recently with VPN Fusion. This new feature is very useful to me as it allows me to create multiple VPN tunnels to multiple VPN services for specific devices all at the same time. Hence, the devices that run streaming services off US accounts like Discovery+ and Paramount+ are permanently assigned to a US based VPN. Simultaneously, you can also for example, create a permanent VPN tunnel into your office network for your office computer based on its local IP address. For the rest of the devices, there is no VPN and they run at full speed off the local ISP.
I’ve also created my private VPN server at a relative’s house in the USA to reroute my traffic through his house internet, so I don’t have to pay for a VPN service, but that is another story if anyone is interested.
