This particular 4k UHD disc “CANT” be played on 3 UHD players that I have at home.
My dad has a LG UP970 4K UHD Player at his home, n this disc “CAN” play on that player only…
Weird… Anyone has this disc to verify that it has a problem?
this will be a good disc to test on the New “Magnetar” n “Reavon” players…
if these new kid’s on the block, cant play this particular disc, then hmmmmmm…
oh yes, my dad has the same 4k disc at his home too…just incase anyone is wondering too…
just tried to play the disc in the “Hopeless XBOX Series X”
cant play it also…
so, i guess LG UP970 is the “Winner”!!

at least people will know that only the LG and Panasonic UHD players have no problems with this disc.
Perhaps there is a defect in the particular disc that the LG is able to ignore? I have a Phillips UHD player in some closet that I can try.

Tested this disc which I believe is the same 1 on Oppo 205, playing just fine as Sammy said probably it’s the disc.

its very weird, because my dad has this disc, n i also have a disc…
so its 2 separate, but same disc.
the barcode at the back is exactly the same.

i even washed the disc which i have…
n when i went over to my dads place, i also washed his disc…
as i know 4K UHD disc’s must be very spotless clean for overcoming playback issues.
Have you tried taking your dad’s disc to play on your player?

Got the 4K UHD disc from my dad’s home yesterday…
As u can see the disc from my dad’s home is from Australia…
The disc is “Made in Germany” as printed on the top of the disc itself…
Mine is the US version…
I played both discs in,
The US Disc can’t play in all three…
The Aussie Disc can play in Sony, n sometimes can play in pioneer…OPPO sadly can’t play both…
the weird part of this “Disc’s” issue, is that in my Dad’s home, on his SONY UBP-X700, his Aussie disc cant be played…(His LG UP970 can play it with no issue’s)

both sets have been updated to the latest firmware available…
“Technology”… it’s a hit or miss, i guess… weird but true…
