This can’t be. Doesn’t “Direct” disable anything Audyssey and internal EQ? If so, it doesn’t reflect the custom changes you made on the curve?!

Direct mode does not turn off Audyssey correction filters based on my recollection. Take note, this article was prodcued many years ago when I still have my Denon AVR. My understanding is only Pure Direct mode bypasses room correction.
